1 APP is here
We have now gone live with 1APP
Applications made through the Planning Portal will now automatically use the new forms. The new forms have become mandatory and we will no longer accept applications on our old forms.
If you do not wish to apply online but would prefer to print out copies of the forms to fill in, you can download them here.
New Validation lists
The government has indicated it will introduce changes to the law that will set out specific National information requirements for planning applications and that these will come into affect from April 2008.
Any application that does not include the items of information on the National lists will be invalid and they will not be processed until all the information is received.
In addition the government has encouraged local planning authorities to draft their own list of local information requirements from a generic list of topics. This guidance, which includes the National lists, can be found on the Communities and Local Government website.
Consultation and Adoption of Local Lists
Government guidance encourages local planning authorities to prepare their own lists of information requirements, but also states that their contents will not become mandatory until they have been subjected to a process of consultation with interested parties.
Hackney has consulted on our local validation lists and are now finalising them.
