Making an Application

There are three application types that we generally receive

Full plans application

– This is a process where drawings and construction details/calculations are submitted to us for approval.  We then examine them to ensure they comply with the current regulations.  If they do we will issue an approval.  We may also issue a conditional approval if  there are items that can be agreed at a later date. If there are insufficient details and further information is not forthcoming we may  issue a rejection.  All of the above is carried out in set time frames in accordance with statutory requirements.

Building notice

– for minor works where the builder has a full understanding of the current regulations. Please note that if you are carrying out building works within 3 metres of a Thames Water Sewer you cannot use this application.  Refer to more information.

Regularisation application

– For works already carried out (after 11th November 1985) that you wish to be certified.  – Refer to what we do .
