Environmental Health - Out of Hours Emergencies
There is an Environmental Health Officer available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year because environmental health problems involving serious events, fatalities, imminent risks to health and food poisoning outbreaks don't always occur during office hours.
Although each call is an emergency to the caller, the majority received can be dealt with by advice or referral to the normal week day service.
