Street litter bins

Littering can be a huge problem on our streets, the mess left around making whole areas look unsightly, unwelcoming, and can encourage vermin.

Dropping litter is an offence, and can result in a fine of up to £2,500.  Hackney council provides litter bins throughout the borough, to ensure that there is no excuse for leaving rubbish on the streets.

If a litter bin is overflowing, or to report any any other problems or queries about litter bins, please call the wasteline or use the form above.
