
Olympic Park - Free Tours
Residents and community groups in Hackney have the chance to look around the Olympic Park site. The tours by bus are guided by the Olympic Delivery Authority and include the huge construction site where the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Park is taking shape.
After the Games have gone the area will be developed into the largest urban park created in Europe in more than 150 years.
The tours take place on the following dates:
- 6 February 2009
- 13 March 2009
Important:
There is a minimum age restriction of eight years old.
Parental consent forms must be completed for people under the age of 16.
Visitors over the age of 16 must present valid photo identification (valid passport or driver’s license) on the day of the visit.
Access to the site will be denied if this identification is not produced.
There is no photography allowed on the tour.
