London Olympic and Paralympic Games
Wick 2012 Community meetings provide residents closest to where the Games will be staged in 2012 with regular updates on the London Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
These meeting are attended by Wick and King’s Park ward councillors, Council staff and representatives from the London 2012 delivery organisations.
The meetings are a chance for residents to get updates on a range of Games-related activity such as training and job opportunities, volunteering and traffic and transport.
The Olympic delivery organisations attend the meetings and update on issues including construction and work within the Park and impacts on the local area including roads and transport.
