Mabley Green Boulder
Artist John Frankland added a sculpture to Mabley Green. As part of the Hackney Wick Festival in September 2008, Core Arts unveiled the boulder.
Subsequently, professional climbers held bouldering classes for the community. Equipment has also been provided so the bouldering classes can continue in the future. Giuliana Molinari, Deputy Director for Core Arts said that “equally key to the artistic impact of the work is that it has a distinct health benefit. The project offers our service users and the local community a new outdoor local sporting activity”.
