Hackney Marsh Adventure Playground
Hackney Marsh Playground was completely refurbished with new play equipment including a fire area, tree houses and bridges, nets and rope ladders. The new structures incorporate sound and movement and promote fantasy play for children. Improvements also include a new safer and secure fence for the playground and landscaping of the outdoor area.
Jackie Hopfinger, Strategic Manager of Childcare and Play for the Learning Trust reported: “the numbers of children using the playground have increased due to the improvements made in the outdoor play space. There has also been an increase in the number of parents bringing their children to the playground.”
