Recession Advice

We're on your side

Hackney Council wants to make sure that if you are managing debt or work worries, you and your family can access the right support and advice at the right time.

The current economic climate has created uncertainty for many people so the Council has put together contact details for a range of help and advice on issues that might be affecting you (please see the pages on the left).

There's a lot of help available, from rescheduling rent and mortgage payments to accessing training to improve your chances of getting a job.

More information can also be obtained by calling the service centre 020 8356 3000. We'll do all we can to make sure we're on your side through these tough times.
