Green box recycling service
Green boxes are for recycling a wide range of household materials, including paper, plastics, card and glass. They are provided to houses or low-rise apartment blocks that face onto a street.
Below you'll find collection times and the items that you can recycle using a green box. If you need a new green box, you can order one online using our container request form.
Collection times
To see the green bin collection schedule for your area, please download our green box collection days spreadsheet (Excel file, 125KB - if you do not have Excel on your computer, you can download a free Excel viewer from Microsoft).
Important: your green box should be placed out at street level by 7:30am on the day of collection, at the front boundary of your property where it can be easily seen and accessed by the collection crew.
