Advice and support available
If you are affected by domestic or sexual violence, call our helpline on 0800 056 0905 (the helpline is available 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). We offer advice, advocacy, information and support to people who are experiencing domestic violence or sexual violence.
When we work with you, you will be allocated a caseworker who will work on your case to its successful completion.
Your caseworker will:
- explain the options available to you in terms of housing, and legal advice and welfare benefits
- advocate on your behalf, liaising with any agencies that are relevant and providing you with regular feedback on the progress of your case.
About our help
The help we provide is:
- free of charge
- completely confidential and non-judgmental
- provided by a multi-cultural team of specialist caseworkers and counsellors
- available in a range of languages other than English.
We work very closely with other agencies such as the Police and community organisations to ensure that clients are given the best access to services.
