Your Safer Neighbourhoods team

What are Safer Neighbourhood teams?

Safer Neighbourhoods teams are members of the police that are dedicated to your community.

The officers on your Safer Neighbourhoods team spend most of their time on patrol in your neighbourhood, meeting the community and identifying and dealing with those crimes and issues you have told us cause you most concern. Your team adjusts its shift pattern to address these priority issues.

How to contact your team

If you have concerns about day-to-day crime and disorder issues, you can find and contact your Safer Neighbourhoods team using the Metropolitan Police website.

The Policing Pledge

The Met’s Policing Pledge sets out the standards of service you can expect from the police and outlines how you can work with us to tackle crime and make London safer.

It gives you information about Safer Neighbourhoods teams and tells you how you can give us feedback or become a special constable / volunteer.
