Publicising sentence outcomes

As part of the Justice Seen Justice Done campaign, Hackney Council is working closely with the Police to publicise convictions handed out in the courts. This opens up the criminal justice system, making it more transparent and accountable to the public.

Helping the public become more informed about how cases conclude encourages people to come forward to report crime and discourages offenders from committing crimes.
