An impressive Art Deco staircase leads the way to the Council Chamber, a luxurious space providing the perfect setting for ceremonies or meetings. Features include a beautiful domed ceiling, vaulted galleries, Australian walnut timber panelling and ornate gold cornicing.
The ceremonial suites that sit at either side provide a tranquil space for you to prepare for your special event or can be used as breakout or refreshment space.

When guests are seated, the Council Chamber can accomodate a maximum of 83 people: 53 seated theatre-style in the chamber, 30 seated on pews on the balcony.

With some guest standing, the council chamber can accomodate 100 people: 70 standing in the chamber, 30 seated on pews in the balcony.
