Two historic spaces for weddings
The Grade II listed, Art Deco style building provides a choice of two historic spaces for your London wedding:
- the Assembly Hall
- the Council Chamber.
Located on Stoke Newington Church Street in Hackney, the town hall is situated next to the scenic Clissold Park, providing you with a beautiful backdrop for photographs.

The light and spacious glass-roofed reception creates a breathtaking entrance for your wedding guests, while two flexible spaces are available for receptions of 50 to 600 people.
For smaller wedding receptions you may be interested in hiring our sister venue, Clissold House, a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian manor house residing just up the road in Clissold Park. You may also be interested in checking out the wide variety of high-quality bars, cafes and restaurants just outside the building on Stoke Newington's Church Street.
