Your Memories and Stories
If Stoke Newington Town Hall could talk, it would have plenty of tales to tell.
In its heyday, Stoke Newington Assembly Hall hosted stars like Eartha Kitt and national institutions like George Melly. It was also where Barbara Windsor took dancing classes as a child.

Your building
The Assembly Hall and Council Chamber restoration will reopen to the public in 2010.
However good the restoration work is, it is community use that will really bring them back to life. This building is yours and we hope that you will enjoy using it.
