Greenwich Leisure Limited (GLL), who manage the Sports facilities for the borough on behalf of Hackney Council manage a number of staff throughout our Sports and Leisure Centres.
Vacancies are usually advertised on the GLL website,in the local media and also appear on the Job Vacancies section of the Council's Website.
The range of opportunities goes from facility based staff, Duty Officers, Leisure Assistants, Receptionists and Cleaners, through to coaching/instructor staff, Swimming Teachers, Aerobic Teachers, Spinning Instructors. Often we look to employ those students who have attended one of our coaching courses as an instructor in one or more of our facilities.
For those wishing to train as a teacher/coach in a particular sport we are able to offer advice about the opportunities available and perhaps even where funding may be sought.
