Stoke Newington Library refurbishment
Stoke Newington Library closed on 30 March 2024 for improvement works to the roof and the outside of the building.
We expect the work to continue beyond spring 2026. We’ll share an update on the timeline once the design stage is complete.

Join the library
Membership is free and anyone can join – you do not have to be a Hackney resident.
Once you have applied, go to any of our library branches with your confirmation number and ID to activate your membership. You can also join in person at any of our library branches.
