If you are interested in a career in the public sector, then our apprenticeship/traineeship scheme could help you achieve your aim.

We have excellent opportunities for you to earn money and gain valuable work experience while you study at the same time.

We offer a 1 or 2 year apprenticeship/traineeship packages that combines work experience, training and a starting salary of £14,334-£15,105 per year.

Our team of experienced and caring staff are on hand to help you succeed. You will have a line manager, a personal mentor, and the scheme coordinator to ensure that all your support and development needs are catered for. You will also be encouraged to form support networks with your fellow apprentices/trainees.

We offer apprenticeships and traineeships in a number of different areas across the Council. In general the scheme is open to Hackney residents aged between 16-24, but some areas require a certain level of qualification and have further age restrictions.

You will also be required to study for either the Foundation Level at NVQ Level 2 or the Advanced Level at NVQ Level 3.
