Accidents at work should be reported to the Incident Contact Centre.

If the incident results in a Death or Major Injury, a member of public being taken to hospital or there is a Dangerous Occurance the incident needs to be reported immediately by telephone and followed up in writing within ten days.

If the incident results in an employee or self emlpoyed person working in your premises being away from work or not being able to carry out their normal duties for more than three days, then this needs reporting in writing within ten days.
