Your Councillors
Your councillor is the person elected every 4 years to represent your area.
They can help if you are dissatisfied with a council service by advising or directing you to someone who can help sort out your problem and can sometimes progress the case on your behalf. This is often done in advice surgeries where you can meet with the councillor for your ward and discuss your problem.
Details of how to contact councillors are on the page Your Councillors on the left, or call Members Services on 020 8356 3303/3304 to leave a message, or call the Call Centre on 020 8356 3000 or write a letter to your councillor at Hackney Town Hall, Mare Street, London E8 1EA.
Other Elected Representatives
In this section you will also be able to find the contact details for your other elected representatives who are not directly with the Council. These include your local Member of Parliament (MP), Member of European Parliament (MEP) and local Greater London Authority (GLA) Members - see left. Please note that although we have the contact details for these representatives, Hackney Council does not undertake any work on behalf of local MPs, MEPs or GLA members.
