London Olympic and Paralympic Games
Olympic organisations
There are two main bodies leading on delivering the Games.
The London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) will run the events at the Games in 2012, or ‘put on the show’. The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) will build the venues for the Games, or ‘build the theatre’.
LOCOG and the ODA are located together in Canary Wharf, East London.

London’s Olympic Games will run from 27 July to 12 August 2012.
London's Paralympic Games will be held from 29 August to 9 September 2012.
