I have brought a new air conditioning unit for my shop do I need to register it?
I have taken over a shop. Has the air conditioning unit been registered in the past?

If you have purchased a dry system this does not need to be registered. Wet, evapourative cooling systems, need to be registered so please contact the Hackney Service Centre on 020 8356 4911 for an application form or information on past registrations.

You can download the registration form from www.hackney.gov.uk/eh-cooling_tower_registration-3.pdf

Registration lasts for the life of the tower unit, if the unit itself remains unchanged.
