I would like to report a dangerous building or structure
Please contact the Hackney Service Centre on 020 8356 8124, you will need to state the problem and full address of the property or structure you are referring to. You will be put through to Building Control who will deal with your enquiry and arrange a site visit if necessary.
I have a structural problem with my building/property
If the structure is dangerous please refer to the question above. Otherwise, please contact the Hackney Service Centre on 020 8356 8124.
If you are the owner of the property please be advised that if our Building Control Surveyors determine that if your property is a dangerous structure you will be given the opportunity to organise remedial action. Failing which the Council will ask it’s Emergency Contractors to carry out the remedial work and all costs will be charged to the property owner.
I am a Hackney Housing Department tenant
If you are a Hackney Housing Department tenant, in the first instance you should contact your Local Neighbourhood Office. They too have an emergency call out service.
