Walls

I have seen some items fall and they are blocking the footway / carriageway, who should I inform?

Please contact the Hackney Service Centre on 020 8356 2897 and your call will be logged. Please state when it happened, where it happened with precise location information, and what has fallen. We will refer your incident to the appropriate department.

I would like to report a car or other vehicle causing damage to an item.

Please contact the Hackney Service Centre on 020 8356 2897 with as much detail as possible about the problem, including a clear description of its location.
Some examples you can refer to when calling us to log the problem are:
•The details about the vehicle, (e.g. registration number).
•The description of the vehicle.
•The make of vehicle.
•The time and date of vehicle found.
•The location of vehicle found.
If necessary, our officers will visit the site to investigate the problem.

I would like to report a wall that may fall.

Please contact the Hackney Service Centre on 020 8356 2897 immediately. This will be treated as a potential dangerous structure and the incident will be reported directly to Building Control.
