World Mental Health Day
10 October 2008
World Mental Health Week will be celebrated in over 100 countries across the globe. Activities will range from campaigns to stop discrimination against the mentally ill to the effects of human rights abuses on mental health.
World Mental Health Day Hackney event
The Hackney event will showcase advocacy, advice and information services which support mental health service users, their families and local communities. Hackney’s new advocacy guide will be launched at the event. The guide is full of useful information to inform people of their rights at home, at work and in the community, and how to access the right help and support.
