Cashiers have moved
The Cashiers formerly based in the Town Hall and Stoke Newington Municipal Offices have moved to a new cashiers office at 2 Hillman Street, E8 1FB.

You can also pay by direct debit:

- For housing rents call 020 8356 2164
- For service charges call 020 8356 2400
Or at the Post Office and Paypoint by cash only for council tax, housing rents, overpaid housing benefit, street trading; make sure you have either a plastic payments card or bar-coded payment book.
Or at your bank as long as you have a bank accredited payment slip (Bank Giro Credit) for council tax, business rates, service charges, major works and Hackney invoices.
Where to find the Cashiers
The new reception is behind Hackney Town Hall. Buses 30, 48, 55, 106, 236, 254, 276, 277, 394, 817 to Town Hall stop Mare Street. Take Reading Lane and then turn right into Hillman Street, entrance by Christopher Addison House.
