Woodberry Down Regeneration Roadshow

View of Woodberry Down Estate showing Rowley Gardens

From Tuesday 21st February till Friday 3rd March, Hackney Council’s Woodberry Down Regeneration Team will be out and about on their trailer showcasing the latest information about the future plans for Woodberry Down. Local residents will be able to catch the Team at various locations across the neighbourhood where they’ll learn how their views and comments from previous consultation exercises have been accounted for in the creation of the Masterplan.

With planning permission due to be submitted within the next couple of months, residents will have the opportunity to see the final phasing plan – which would reveal when their blocks will be likely to be demolished. Residents will also be able to experience the vision for Woodberry Down in the form of a computer generated fly-through of the proposed environment. Further information will be available in the form of detailed displays, architectural drawings and a 3D-model of the Masterplan.

The Woodberry Down Consultation Team will be on hand to provide answers to questions and concerns that the residents might have, alongside other members from the regeneration team including the re-housing team, representatives from the architects, urban designers as well as Berkeley Homes and Circle Anglia.
