Get involved with a play about democracy
This summer the Arcola Theatre is presenting a new play about democracy written by local young people and top theatre professionals. The play will be performed in October as part of the Local Democracy Week programme, developed by Hackney Council, the Learning Trust, and local partners.
Fantastic opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people between the ages of 16 to 19 to get involved with the planning and delivery of a professional performance, and to explore important issues relating to local democracy.
Open days
There are three open days going on this month in the Arcola Theatre (27 Arcola Street, London E8 2DJ) on Monday 16 and Thursday 19 July from 5pm to 8pm, and Sunday 22 July from 2pm to 5pm to provide a taster of what the performance will involve.
