White Ribbon Fridays
Hackney has launched White Ribbon Fridays in November to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on 25 November.
Taking place at: Queensbridge Sports and Community Centre, 30 Holly Street, Hackney, London E8 3XW.
There will be:
- Free food and refreshments
- Information stalls workshops
- Films
- Question and answer sessions
- Art and self-empowerment
- Guest speakers
- Give-aways
- Free creche facilities provided
Friday 16 November 11am to 6pm
Awareness and Prevention of Violence against Children and Young Women.
Friday 23 November 11am to 6pm
Awareness and Prevention of Violence against Women within Black Minority Ethnic and Refugee Communities.
