• Procession ends: Hackney Downs Park, Clapton, E5

The event, organised by Centerprise, the Dalston-based community and arts centre in Hackney is expected to attract thousands of revellers from Hackney and its surrounding boroughs.

Participating groups: People of Paradise, Perpetual Odyssey, Unity Mas Band, Beeraahaar Sweet Combination, Stamford Hill Carnival Club, Ruff Diamond, Masquerade 2000, Poineers and Their Origin, Soca Saga Boys, Jamboulay, Heritage, Prestige Dance Group, Deloris Francis, Soca Massive, Gahu Dramatic Arts, Lord Eric and Sugumugu Sunday, Jamboulay, Dakrobi, Unique Touch and many more.
