Dalston Square hosts free, drop-in cultural activities and events all year round.

Pop-up play road

Saturday 30 June, 1-4pm

Are you stuck on stabilisers? Want a new cycle experience? Bring your own bike or use one of ours at the Stars 'n' Stripes pop-up play-road. A family cycle experience promoting safe cycling with pop-up traffic lights, zebra crossings and dressing up as traffic police, lollipop people and more.

Street art festival by 840 Arts

Hackney Kids' Carnival

Sunday 15 July, early afternoon, time to be confirmed

In the run-up to the main Hackney Carnival in September, four Hackney schools have immersed themselves in carnival workshops to create pint-sized carnival costumes, choreography and steel pan and samba performances. Join us at the Hackney Kids' Carnival procession to enjoy the work of Hackney's future carnivalists.
