Art exhibition at Homerton Hospital
Free, Homerton University Hospital, Homerton Row, E9 6SR
Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust presents a selection of wonderful art works created in specialist art workshops with patients with dementia from the Elderly Care Unit. The art works were made by patients in weekly group sessions run by visiting artist, Patrick O'Donnell. Themes range from tropical fish to birds of paradise.
Using stencils, patients are able to form the basis of a painting and add their own creative touches later on. These life affirming paintings will be on display in the Trust's main thoroughfare corridor throughout May.
